I'm interested in exploring this option for our library.  I had questions about the material David presented at our last meeting, so I'll be in touch with him about that.  Are any of you familiar with a similar product offered by another company?

Moravian is trialing Serials Solutions' "360 Search."  We have received a few responses from students (undergrads).  Most like the convenience, but one of our really smart students said she thought it wasn't as good as searching the databases separately.

I wondered how different students would use it---I suppose many will like the convenience, and a few will be frustrated by some aspects of it (like not getting the expected results).  I'd really like to see a trial of several, I think.  How long is your trial in effect for?

Sorry it has taken me so long to look at the Forum again!  Our electronic resources librarian does not know how long the trial will go.  It has been going a couple months now and still responds.
